Patrick Peoples
1971-2007
Patrick Peoples was born and raised in Sydney, living in the areas of Centennial Park, Paddington and Darlinghurst. He showed artistic talent from a young age and created a catalogue of work throughout his life spanning drawing, sculpture, graphic art, photography and painting.
This archive site was made by Patrick Peoples' nephew, Liam Wheatley, to honour his artistic legacy. Patrick put a lot of time and imagination into his work, often without much praise or attention beyond close friends and family, so in publishing this archive, hopefully a new audience can appreciate his art.
Patrick was never an established artist and never had an agent. He never attended an art school, besides a workshop he completed at the Tom Bass Sculpture School.
It must be noted not all artworks by Patrick Peoples are presented in this archive. Some works are simply missing, perhaps in the possession of friends.
